B'rit Chadashah Portion
Therefore, there is no longer any condemnation awaiting those who are in union with the Messiah Yeshua. 2 Why? Because the Torah of the Spirit, which produces this life in union with Messiah Yeshua, has set me free from the “Torah” of sin and death.
3 For what the Torah could not do by itself, because it lacked the power to make the old nature cooperate, God did by sending his own Son as a human being with a nature like our own sinful one [but without sin]. God did this in order to deal with sin, and in so doing he executed the punishment against sin in human nature, 4 so that the just requirement of the Torah might be fulfilled in us who do not run our lives according to what our old nature wants but according to what the Spirit wants.
5 For those who identify with their old nature set their minds on the things of the old nature, but those who identify with the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 Having one’s mind controlled by the old nature is death, but having one’s mind controlled by the Spirit is life and shalom. 7 For the mind controlled by the old nature is hostile to God, because it does not submit itself to God’s Torah — indeed, it cannot.
8 Thus, those who identify with their old nature cannot please God.
There is a struggle between us and the evil inclination, but as you quoted in in Ezekiel 36, it seems that we will automatically do the law and not struggle between the good versus evil inclination. Why is that?
Shaul is telling us that when we walk by the spirit, we can see how the prophet Ezekiel is showing us the new path.
To understand the thing perfectly, we need to know how HaShem did the pact with the nation of Israel because the first one was to make the law, He did it on a rock. But the Prophet Ezekiel, even Yirmeyahu, says that Adonai is going to put the same laws in each soul, in each heart and says that it’s not going to be any more on a stone, on a rock. It’s going to be in each human being.
Then I comprehend in this way, by His mercy, He’s going to make each human being between His own Ruach HaKodesh, His Spirit, you can understand the way how Adonai works. Because if we understand the function of the tabernacle, that function is because he compare us like a tabernacle and the tabernacle always works from inside to outside.
Because what He wants is to live inside of us so he can beat the bad inclination who is inside of us. And in other way, Shaul is telling us to follow him by Ruach HaKodesh, believe Yeshua is the way that thing is going to happen. Because from the beginning, HaShem want to do that in us.
In the way that I understand now is Yeshua wants to be inside of us and this is the way that I can explain. This is the thing with the bad inclination is it’s spiritual things, but we have to fight it with the good inclination, by the Ruach HaKodesh, by the same spirit. We have to work with what we have in our minds and inside of our hearts. The question is what do we have in our hearts and what we have in our minds? That’s why our Father wants to give us explanation how the Ruach HaKodesh work. This is only what I can explain, my brother.
There was a man who was bothering another person. And then the guy who was ostigated, he asked the other guy and he says, “Do you think Yeshua will do that to me?” Then we have to think about it. If Yeshua will do those things is the way that we can figure out what we are doing.

In other words, the only way we can realize that is we have to permit Yeshua to live in us by the Ruach HaKodesh. I remember the old man who was telling me, “The way you know that something is good is you think if Yeshua will do it.”
For example, if you’re going to choose a movie, you have to think if Yeshua will watch that movie with you, it’s okay. If you want to buy clothes, if Yeshua will buy those clothes, it’s okay. If you want to be with somebody, if you think Yeshua will be with him, it’s okay. The best way to know if Yeshua approves that, if Adonai approves what you are doing then you know that you are living according with Him.
